The Cleveland Browns begin their 2021 NFL season at the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Though the Cleveland Browns are immensely talented, they might be up against it when they take on the two-time defending AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs on the road in Week 1.

While the Browns are coming off their best season in a generation, we all saw their season end at Arrowhead back in the divisional round. Cleveland should be a playoff team once again this year, possibly good enough to win the AFC North crown for the first time ever. If the Browns want to start the 2021 NFL season off on the right foot, an upset special in Arrowhead should do the trick.

If Cleveland wants to put the NFL world on notice, these five Browns have to shine vs. Kansas City.

Cleveland Browns: 5 players who must play well vs. Kansas City Chiefs to win

Wyatt Teller and the rest of the Browns offensive line have to be ready to play

While one can argue for the Browns being the best offensive line in football, that really does not matter if the Cleveland front-five does not show up to play in Kansas City Week 1. Though you can look at all five of their starting offensive linemen and say they are among the best at their respective positions, guard Wyatt Teller has to be the tone-setter for the Browns vs. the Chiefs.

There are three reasons for this. One, Cleveland is not winning this game if the Browns have no semblance of a rushing attack. Two, Baker Mayfield must play well from inside of a clean pocket. And three, Teller will be one of the players asked to contain Kansas City defensive line menace Chris Jones in the trenches. Simply put, Teller will be tasked with being in the middle of everything.

The best part about the Browns offensive line is that it is a strong and cohesive unit that brings out the best in all of them. Teller does not have to be the best of the quintet, but he cannot be an area of weakness. He had too strong of a season with the 2020 Browns to be a regression candidate. While all five offensive linemen will be under the microscope, Teller will be especially.

Cleveland has no shot at the road upset if the offensive line does not play like the best in football.
