Mac Jones will line up under center for the Patriots in his first career game after the rookie surpassed all expectations during training camp and the preseason. Jones’ phenomenal performance was enough to take the starting position from Cam Newton, resulting in Newton being released. Jones couldn’t ask for better circumstances as he’s set to take the field behind a strong offensive line, with a good run game and two quality tight ends at his disposal.

It is set to be a competitive game for both the young quarterbacks. With the skill players and defenses they have been given, they will look to establish dominance in a crowded division.
