8. Mike Williams, Los Angeles Chargers

Mike Williams has been touted as a breakout star seemingly every season. His career year was in 2019 where he put up 1,001 yards and two touchdowns. This year though, it may finally come together for Williams.

New Chargers’ offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi, who plans to take pages out of Saints’ coach Sean Peyton’s offense, says Williams will play the X role — the same role that Saints’ star Michael Thomas played and broke records.

Williams likely won’t break records, but him being put in a spot to succeed may prove beneficial, making him a great addition to your team.

The Chargers are playing a tough Washington defense, but don’t let that scare you away. Justin Herbert needs to throw the ball, and Keenan Allen can’t catch every one of them.

7. Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals

Tee Higgins enjoyed a stellar rookie season, putting up 908 yards and six touchdowns. He should return to similar production this season with a healthy Joe Burrow and another offseason under his belt.

Higgins should command a decent target share from Burrow in Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings. Though he faces target competition from Tyler Boyd and Ja’Marr Chase, Higgins’ skillset and obvious rapport with Burrow will keep him fantasy relevant.

Higgins is the best play of any Cincy wideout this week. Get him in your lineup as he should return solid FLEX to mid-range WR2 numbers.
