2. Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins invested high draft capital in Jaylen Waddle when they selected him in the first round of the 2021 draft, meaning he should contribute immediately.

Waddle has impressed in the preseason, and appears to already have a connection with Dolphins’ quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Waddle should come out of the gates immediately establishing himself as the Dolphins’ WR1, and in a matchup with the Patriots where both teams will feature newly improved offenses, Waddle should have no shortage of opportunities and should be in your lineup.

1. Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers

Deebo Samuel, like Landry, fell in drafts because of the quarterback uncertainty on his team. However, there’s no denying his talent. Samuel is one of the quickest players in the NFL, and the 49ers don’t hesitate to manufacture touches for him.

Regardless of whether Jimmy Garoppolo or Trey Lance is the starter, or whether they form some quarterback-by-committee, Samuel will get the ball often.

He has the potential to be San Francisco’s WR1 this season, and in a very tantalizing matchup against the Detroit Lions, he should be in every lineup in Week 1.
