While he may have planned to do this all along, you cannot ask the love of your life for her hand in marriage after your team lost to Jacksonville State at home. This is not the football program the late Bobby Bowden built. Somehow, someway, this strange timing of commitment makes Willie Taggart look good.

While the plan all along would have been to propose on the Doak Campbell Field turf after a Seminoles win, are we sure the āNoles are going to win a game this year, Tallahassee or not? I mean, they just lost their first two to Notre Dame and now Jacksonville State. With another loss coming to Florida down the line, Florida State may only win ACC games this year.
