It’s no surprise, then, that former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is swirling in rumors about his future with the Jacksonville Jaguars after an atrocious loss to the NFL’s most dysfunctional team in Week 1.
With fans speculating about what college he should coach at next, Urban’s wife Shelley Meyer finally responded to the sarcasm with her own over Twitter.

With the eye roll emoji, Shelley insists that the Meyers are in Jacksonville to stay for the time being.
When someone asks if she’s unpacked all of her boxes in the move to Jacksonville, Shelley laughs and said the Meyers were “pretty settled.”
Shelley’s response seems to settle the Meyer’s coaching debate… for now, that is. If Urban Meyer can’t pull the Jaguars out of the dregs of the NFL hierarchy, the college-to-NFL coach experience could quickly turn ugly.
USC fans are already joking about bringing Meyer in for the job, while others make the case that only Meyer can save the program after Clay Helton’s departure.
For this coach in the hot seat, college football fans are warming up a new one for him at a bevy of top college programs.
