2. Eagles will sack Jimmy Garoppolo and pick off Trey Lance on consecutive plays

Could imagine how the internet will react if this happens? 49ers fans will lose their minds, while the rest of the NFL world will laugh amongst themselves hysterically. Even though the Eagles are not hitting the 49ers quarterbacks nine times like they did Matt Ryan last week, the Philadelphia pass-rush will give us one hell of a sequence of events involving Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance.

There will be a play where either Garoppolo does not feel the pressure or Cox and company blow up the 49ers’ blocking scheme to wreck Jimmy GQ’s day. This will either be a bad sack that head coach Kyle Shanahan will be beside himself or, even worse, one where Garoppolo is knocked out of the game, temporarily or not. Lance will be thrust in there and he will give the ball to the Eagles.

Yes, I am forecasting Garoppolo to get sacked, followed up by Lance replacing him and then throwing an awful pick on the very next play. What can I say? I’m here to watch the world burn. I have no dog in this fight, but I am here for the viral content this unbelievable sequence will create. The 49ers can still win this game, but this will be the series of plays we all will be talking about.

Don’t worry, 49ers fans. Some other team in the NFL will have something worse happen to them.
