Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams just took a subtle shot at the Dallas Cowboys defense ahead of their Week 2 battle.

With the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers getting ready to face off on Sunday, wide receiver Mike Williams has a feeling he’s going to have a big game. Williams saw what the Tampa Bay offense, led by Tom Brady, was able to do in Week 1.

Now, Williams has taken a bit of a subtle jab at the Cowboys defense with the Dallas-LA tilt right around the corner. You better believe this is going to motivate the Dallas defense big time.

Cowboys players won’t love the latest quote from Mike Williams

“Tampa Bay receivers looked like they was having some fun out there,” Williams said via Chargers Wire.

Tampa Bay indeed put on quite the offensive clinic, as Brady finished the night throwing for 379 yards. Dallas simply had no answer for the veteran quarterback, as he was hitting Chris Godwin, Rob Gronkowski and others with ease.

It was a disappointing showing for Dallas in the heartbreaking loss, but they’re now ready to flush things and try and earn their first victory of the year on Sunday in Los Angeles. Williams and the Chargers recorded a win in Week 1 over the Washington Football team, and now they’re focused on lighting up the stage against Dallas.

Williams finished that showdown with eight receptions for 82 yards and one touchdown. It was quite the performance for the former Clemson superstar, as he’s hoping to have a strong season for the AFC West side. Dallas will be ready to try and shut him down come Sunday, with his little jab no doubt giving the Cowboys bulletin board material beforehand.
