NFL Week 2 2021: Picks and predictions for every game
Nobody — well, maybe Green Bay — was more pitiful in Week 1 than the Falcons. Now they to visit the Bucs, who have extra rest. Have fun, guys.
Pick: Tampa Bay 30, Atlanta 20
The Vikings are the biggest calamity in football. Not because they’re the worst team (they aren’t) or because they had the worst Week 1 loss (they didn’t). No, it’s because Minnesota has a ton of talent and can’t figure out how to use any of it.
Pick: Arizona 34, Minnesota 31
If the Titans couldn’t stop the Cardinals in their own building, it should be fun watching them attempt to slow down Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf. The Seahawks are wonky, but they’re also extremely explosive.
Pick: Seattle 33, Tennessee 28
Toughest game to pick this week. Literally nothing would be surprising. The Cowboys are on extra rest and this is going to sound like a home game. Ultimately, that’s why this pick is going for Dallas.
Edit: DeMarcus Lawrence is out. Nevermind.
Pick: Los Angeles 30, Dallas 28
In three starts against the Ravens, Patrick Mahomes is 3-0. Last year, Mahomes tossed five touchdowns in a decisive win on MNF at Baltimore. The Ravens are beat up, on a short week and facing arguably the best team in football, who they never play well against.
Pick: Kansas City 35, Baltimore 23
If this isn’t a get-right game for the Packers, nothing is.
Pick: Green Bay 34, Detroit 17
Last Week: 6-10
Season: 6-10
