ESPN’s College GameDay is going off-campus for a big Week 4 game in the Windy City.

That’s right. ESPN’s College GameDay is coming to the Second City, as they will be in Chicago Week 4 for the Wisconsin Badger’s neutral-site game vs. the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

This game between midwestern football powers will take place at Soldier Field on the shore of majestic Lake Michigan. ESPN has taken GameDay to neutral-site games before, whether that be for a conference championship, a College Football Playoff game or not. However, this one will be special, as we are not sure when the next time a game of this magnitude will be at Soldier Field.

Let’s hope they move the starting kickoff time back, as the game is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. CT.

College GameDay is heading to Chicago for Week 4 for Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame

Notre Dame improved to 3-0 by defeating the Purdue Boilermakers up in South Bend. Wisconsin was on a bye this weekend. For the Irish, they have their entire College Football Playoff dreams ahead of them. As far as the Badgers are concerned, they have to win out after losing their home opener vs. the Penn State Nittany Lions back in Week 1. Regardless, this should be a great game.

May Soldier Field look magnificent in all its glory next Saturday morning with the ESPN crew there.
