The No. 25 team in the land will climb up the AP Top 25 poll entering Week 4. Michigan has scored 47, 31 and now 63 points in the Wolverines’ three games this year. While 63 points is an absurd amount to put on an FBS team, Group of Five or not, what is the all-time scoring record for Michigan football? Was this the record or how close did they come to breaking the all-time mark?

Regardless, it is great to see the Michigan team win big, whether it be by land or through the air.

Michigan football: What is the Wolverines’ highest-scoring game to date?

While 63 points is a lot to put in the ledger, Michigan has scored over 100 points four times in the program’s illustrious history. The Wolverines beat West Virginia 130-0 in 1904. Their three other 100-point games are a 128-point shutout of Buffalo in 1901, a 119-point shutout of Michigan State in 1902 and a 107-point shutout of Iowa in that same 1902 season a month later.

While Michigan is not scoring 100 points any time soon, these 63 on Saturday are a great sign.
