Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Alejandro Villanueva looked like he’d never blocked in his life on one terrible rep against the Chiefs.

In a matchup with a fellow Super Bowl contender, the Ravens needed their best stuff.

What they got from offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva wasn’t quite there.

The worst example of Villanueva’s night? This truly horrific attempt at blocking.

That block would have even Tim Tebow cringing. It seriously looked like Villanueva forgot he was playing football. It looked like a glitch.

Ravens fans were not happy at all with the tackle as you could imagine.

Alejandro Villanueva had ups and downs vs. the Chiefs

In Villanueva’s defense, he was only in that spot because of an injury to starter Ronnie Stanley. His struggle on that play could easily be attributed to switching from right to left. Everything is reversed and it’s not always easy for your brain to catch up.

Some pointed out he had a better night on Sunday than the previous week.

All football players will have their rough moments. Bouncing back from them is what’s important. Villanueva can make up for that whiff by keeping Lamar Jackson clean on all the rest. Of course, that’s much easier said than done going against the Chiefs pass rush.
