Georgia football fans want the next all-world quarterback prospect, Arch Manning, to come to Athens and the Bulldogs made sure the 2023 recruit knew it.

While Georgia football was making mincemeat of South Carolina in a 40-13 victory in Week 3, the eyes of the program and the Bulldogs fans were on the future. Namely, they were on a high-profile visitor: Arch Manning, the No. 1 ranked recruit in the 2023 class by the 247 Sports Composite.

Kirby Smart and the Georgia football coaching staff undoubtedly did everything in their power to try and sway Manning to come to Athens whenever he makes his much-anticipated commitment. But that was behind the scenes.

Georgia football fans rolled out the red carpet treatment for Arch Manning

In front of the cameras, though, Georgia football fans tried to do their part, specifically with a group of fans using body paint to show just how much they want the quarterback to be a Bulldogs star:

Manning, the nephew of Peyton and Eli (and son of Cooper), has wowed talent evaluators at every turn to this point. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound junior at Isidore Newman in New Orleans has a cannon arm, great feel for leading an offense for his age, and the bloodlines, of course, don’t hurt his case.

He’s the type of recruit that can change the course of history for a football program. So for a Georgia football program that is still searching for their first National Championship since 1980, it’s no wonder fans want him to choose the Dawgs over Alabama, Clemson, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas, the other perceived contenders to land a commitment.

Suffice it to say, though, this won’t be the last group of college football fans trying to woo Arch Manning to join their favorite team.
