Danny Jansen leaves wristband on ground to troll Kevin Kiermaier during brawl

Toronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen trolled the Tampa Bay Rays in the middle of the two teams’ beef that went down on Wednesday. 

Who knew the drama between the Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays would continue like this? It all started when Kevin Kiermaier picked up a card that apparently had Toronto’s game plan on how to toss to Tampa Bay hitters.

On Wednesday, Kiermaier was bit by a pitch late in the action and the benches ended up clearing, making this showdown even spicier. Toronto catcher Danny Jansen decided to have some fun with things, tossing his wristband on the ground. Was he waiting for Kiermaier to try and pick it up? This is gold.

Jansen simply had to know exactly what he was doing there. This is next-level trolling at its finest. For the Blue Jays, they’re playing for their postseason lives right now. The fact that the Rays tried getting an upper hand by taking that card earlier in the week had to infuriate them.

The fact that they lost 7-1 on Wednesday too has only made things worse for them. Despite that, Jansen was able to give all of the Toronto fans some much-needed comedic relief. Next up for Toronto will be a three-game series with the Minnesota Twins.

Then, things will really get interesting as they get ready to take on the New York Yankees. That series will be massive for both clubs, as the two are trying to claim one of the AL Wild Card spots. The pressure is certainly on for Toronto, especially after this series to forget with Tampa Bay.
