Baltimore Ravens

Do the Baltimore Ravens need Josh Gordon? That is very debatable.

Marquise Brown is off to a hot start. He was fantastic against the Kansas City Chiefs with six receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown. Right now, his PFF receiving grade of 87.8 is second among wide receivers.

They are quietly deep at the position, as well. Sammy Watkins is a reliable veteran option, and he has 140 total receiving yards in his first two games.

Second-year wide receivers Devin Duvernay and James Proche II are underutilized. Duvernay has game-breaking speed. He ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, and he had 93-yard kickoff return touchdown last season. Proche had 111 receptions in his final season at SMU.

Rookie Tylan Wallace was fantastic at Oklahoma State, and we have not even mentioned first round pick Rashod Bateman, yet. Bateman began the season on IR with a groin injury.

Still, this is a move that I could see the Ravens making. Last season, they signed Dez Bryant after he missed the previous two seasons.

Additionally, Gordon’s upside should be tantalizing for a team trying to compete for a title.
