And they aren’t the only ranked teams on upset alert in the mid-day slate of games.
Upset Alert: Clemson tied with NC State, Auburn trails Georgia State
D.J. Uiagalelei and the Tigers offense continues to struggle, putting up just seven points against NC State in the first half. They’re a 10-point favorite but went in tied 7-7 at the break.
Dabo Swinney’s team can at least be glad they’re not Auburn’s shoes.
The other Tigers trailed Georgia State 17-9 with just a couple minutes left in the second quarter. Falling behind to a 27-point underdog is never a position any team wants to be in, especially at home.
No. 5 Iowa trails Colorado State, 14-7 at halftime.
No. 7 Texas A&M trails No. 16 Arkansas, 17-3 at halftime.
No. 14 Iowa State trails Baylor, 21-13 at halftime.
