The Tennessee football team looks to play spoiler when the Vols take on Florida Saturday night.

For the second straight game, Hendon Hooker will be getting the start at quarterback for Josh Heupel’s Florida football team.

Matt Zenitz of On3 reports it will be Hooker for the Vols when they take on the SEC East rival Florida Gators down in The Swamp on Saturday night. Hooker had transferred from Virginia Tech and had been in a competition with Joe Milton throughout camp. While Milton won the job initially, he is dealing with a bit of an injury in Week 4. Hooker shined in Tennessee’s Week 3 shutout win.

Do the Volunteers have what it takes to stun the Gators with Hooker under center for them?

Tennessee football: Hendon Hooker to start at quarterback vs. Florida

Florida is coming off a tough loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide last week. With the Gators’ College Football Playoff dreams now hanging in the balances, look for Dan Mullen’s team to give the Vols everything they have got on Saturday night. However, Hooker did provide the Vols offense a spark that had not been seen in Milton’s first two starts of the year. He must play great for them to win.

If Tennessee stuns Florida in Gainesville, Heupel will have his first signature victory in Knoxville.
