Chiefs give positive update on Andy Reid’s condition
The Kansas City Chiefs took to Twitter to let everyone know that head coach Andy Reid is resting and is in stable condition.
It goes without saying, but countless folks across the country have been incredibly worried about the health of Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid. Following Sunday’s loss to the LA Chargers, Reid was complaining of chest pains and ended up leaving the stadium in an ambulance.
As soon as this news dropped, everyone wanted to know the severity of Reid’s health concerns. Fortunately for everyone, Kansas City just took to social media to let folks know that Reid is resting comfortably and he’s in stable condition.
Andy Reid is in stable condition after being taken to the hospital on Sunday
This is of course amazing news out of Kansas City. While the loss to the Chargers was a major disappointment for the team, none of that mattered once it was made known that Reid had fallen ill. Multiple players took to Twitter to ask fans for well wishes for Reid.
The man means so much to the team and city as a whole. Two seasons ago, Reid helped the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, ending a 50-year drought. For ‘Big Red,’ it’s way too early to even think about when he’ll be able to return to the sidelines.
For now, he’ll just keep resting and make sure he’s close to full health before he assumes his role as the team’s head man. The Chiefs of course won’t want to rush him back either. His health is the most important thing right now. Kansas City is all set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4, as the team is hoping to end its two-game losing streak.
