The Chicago Bears are a hot commodity, but how can fans watch games if they don’t live in the Chicagoland area?

It’s no secret that the NFL wants to stake its flag as a global sport, not just an American obsession. As the sport draws more and more interest in other parts of the world, the strongest fandoms will continue to accumulate power as new fans fall in love with the game.

One of the strongest contingent of fans — and one of the league’s most historic — root for the Chicago Bears. Interest in the Bears is only going to go up as Justin Fields settles in as the franchise’s new quarterback and a player who is looking to fulfill a prophecy that fans have been waiting to see play out for decades.

Not since Jim McMahon have the Bears had a quarterback the fanbase can truly get behind, and Fields looks like he’s going to finally take that mantle after nearly thirty years.

But as the Bears gain interest, finding the games is going to be more and more difficult. Unless the Bears get a nationally televised game on Thursday, Sunday, or Monday night, their games will only be shown regionally in Illinois.

How to watch Chicago Bears games out of market

The easiest way to watch games out of market is with DirecTV and Sunday NFL Ticket. Unlike yesteryear, you don’t need a dish to watch Sunday Ticket. Just like everything else these days, all you need is a streaming device that is able to use the NFL Sunday Ticket app and you should be set.

Obviously, you need to pay for Sunday Ticket, but you can literally just use your phone to watch games rather than needing a whole setup like might have been the case five years ago.

There’s also FUBO.TV, which is mostly useful if you’re in-market but if you’re in a pinch and can’t watch a nationally televised game it’ll be a nice bailout.
