Look: Ohio State unveils new color rush uniforms for Penn State game
By John Buhler
The Ohio State football team will be seeing red when Penn State comes to town on Oct. 30.
Though the game is a month out, the Ohio State football program wants The Horseshoe to be a sea of red, or rather scarlet, for when the Penn State Nittany Lions come to Columbus.
Not only that but Ohio State is suggesting the Buckeyes will be wearing all-scarlet jerseys in their spin of a color rush for this high-profile game. While Ohio State has already suffered its first loss of the season to Oregon, if the Buckeyes win out, they will be back in the College Football Playoff as a Power Five champion. Penn State is the No. 4 team in the country in Week 5 so it would be an ”upset.”
While the kickoff time for this game has not been determined, it will be played on Oct. 30.
Ohio State football team to wear scarlet color rush jerseys vs. Penn State
While Ohio State should win its next three games over three of its division rivals, Penn State has a massive road date at Iowa in two weeks.
It could be a potential precursor to the Big Ten title bout, as the Nittany Lions and the Hawkeyes can totally win their respective divisions.
While the Penn State game is a month away, this is the one that will decide the Buckeyes season, good or bad.
The Horseshoe will be scarlet-ed out in a few weeks, but will the Buckeyes still be alive by then?
