Packers: Davante Adams and concussion protocol

I have no choice but to believe the Packers and NFL when they see concussion protocol was followed when Davante Adams was briefly knocked out of the game with what looked like a serious head injury. We’ll go with that.

However, it’s a dirty play that never should’ve happened in the first place, and shockingly WAS NOT FLAGGED. The tape does the talking for me.

There’s no argument to be made — that’s an obvious penalty, and potentially targeting and worth an ejection.

Goodell and the NFL claim player safety is a top priority. They do so every time CBA talks come up, or when they’re sued into oblivion by a group of former players. But missed calls such as the one above make that tough to believe.
