Wide receivers

Deebo Samuel: San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks ($6,900)

Although Samuel only managed 7.7 fantasy points against the Packers in Week 3, the dynamic 49ers wideout still led the team in targets with 10 on the day.

It was an understandable dip after a 15-reception, 282-yard bout during his first two games, which gave him 40. 5 fantasy points over two weeks.

What makes Samuel a Week 4 must is his matchup against the 32nd-ranked defense in the NFL. The Seahawks have already allowed 856 passing yards in three games, and San Francisco could benefit from the divisional matchup.

Although the running back gig is up in the air, both Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk will benefit this week in Santa Clara.

Christian Kirk: Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams ($6,000)

With DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green on the roster, it might be easy to overlook Christian Kirk — but that would be a costly mistake for this affordable fantasy pickup.

Kirk isn’t a big name because he isn’t big period, but the 5-foot-11 wideout was made to live in the slot.   Week 3 is where we finally saw Kirk shine, with seven receptions on eight targets for 104 yards. Kirk has the potential for high-volume catches, but he’s also proven useful on long stretches downfield and touchdowns.

The key to this choice is that the Rams game is sure to be a shootout, and the Cardinals typically feature three wideouts on the field anyway. The Cards will have to pass to keep up, and Kirk stands to benefit from the game plan.

The other plus? Kirk is less likely to draw attention from Jalen Ramsey.

Cooper Kupp: Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals ($8,600)

After you’ve scrounged up money from high-volume receivers with optimized matchups, it’s time to splurge on the best wide receiver in the NFL: Cooper Kupp.

Kupp may not be a household name, but Stafford’s excellence is finally shining a light on this criminally-underrated receiver. Because of his new quarterback connection, Kupp currently leads the NFL in yards and touchdowns, and that aforementioned Cardinals shootout is going to lean on Kupp for the win.

For nearly $9,000, Kupp is worth the 20+ fantasy points he’s scored every week this season. You’ve saved up, you’ve earned it, so fill your fantasy cup with Kupp.
