NFLN. Thursday, Sept. 30. 56. CIN -7.5. 8:20 p.m. ET. 0-3. 52. 2-1

The Jaguars are terrible, but on a short week for both teams, weird things happen. Still, can you really pick Urban Meyer and Co. right now? Tough to do.

Pick: Cincinnati 27, Jacksonville 20

46. CBS. Sunday, Oct. 3. 1-2. MIA -1.5. 1 p.m. ET. 0-3. 59

This is basically an elimination game for the Colts. Lose and its over. The Dolphins, meanwhile, risk falling far behind in the AFC East with a third straight defeat. Who is more desperate? Calling the upset here.

Pick: Indianapolis 23, Miami 19

16. BUF -16. 2-1. 10. CBS. Sunday, Oct. 3. 1 p.m. ET. 1-2

The Bills are rolling right after a pair of blowout wins, and while they might be looking ahead to Kansas City, the Texans aren’t talented enough to take advantage.

Pick: Buffalo 34, Houston 19

1 p.m. ET. 1-2. FOX. 44. 58. Sunday, Oct. 3. 1-2. WSH -1.5

Washington and Atlanta are both struggling defensively while the Falcons are also terrible offensively. This isn’t going to be an instructional video on how to play the sport.

Pick: Washington 23, Atlanta 17

2-1. 0-3. 30. TEN -7.5. 1 p.m. ET. 35. CBS. Sunday, Oct. 3

It doesn’t matter if the Titans end up being without A.J. Brown and Julio Jones. The Jets are the worst team in football and can barely score a point.

Pick: Tennessee 34, New York 13

FOX. 2-1. 15. 1 p.m. ET. 0-3. 31. Sunday, Oct. 3. NO -7.5

Could this be an upset special? Jameis Winston is always a risk to throw four interceptions. Still, ultimately, it’s the opener at the Superdome and the Saints have a nasty defense.

Pick: New Orleans 24, New York 20

124. Sunday, Oct. 3. 1-2. 54. 1 p.m. ET. 1-2. KC -7.5. CBS

If the Chiefs lose this game, it’s time to panic. Big time. However, tough seeing Patrick Mahomes not bouncing back against an Eagles team that really struggles in the back seven.

Pick: Kansas City 34, Philadelphia 27

1 p.m. ET. FOX. Sunday, Oct. 3. 57. CHI -2.5. 0-3. 50. 1-2

Offensive football is about to be set back 100 years. And that only touches on the Bears, who should stop the game and hold a ceremony if they crack 75 yards this time around.

Pick: Detroit 19, Chicago 17

1 p.m. ET. 2-1. CBS. Sunday, Oct. 3. CLE -2. 53. 1-2. 60

Quietly, a very good game. The Vikings are explosive, the Browns can move the ball with anybody and each defense has some top-tier edge rushers. Expect a shootout in Minnesota.

Pick: Minnesota 35, Cleveland 31

2-1. 123. 3-0. 87. FOX. Sunday, Oct. 3. DAL -4.5. 1 p.m. ET

Carolina is without Christian McCaffrey, which may bog the offense down for a bit. Dallas, meanwhile, is cruising with Dak Prescott playing the best ball of his career.

Pick: Dallas 31, Carolina 26
