When was the last time the Arkansas Razorbacks beat the Georgia Bulldogs? Well, it’s been a little over a decade since that last win.
Despite the fact that both teams are in the SEC, Arkansas and Georgia don’t face each other that often. Because of the number of teams in the SEC, the way games are rotated, and that these two teams aren’t regular rivals, it’s just not a common matchup.
In total, Arkansas and Georgia have only played each other 15 times.
Combining that with the fact that the Razorbacks have been having a rough time with football for much of the past decade while UGA has been really solid and it’s not a shocker that it’s been a little while since the Razorbacks have beaten the Bulldogs.
Georgia has actually claimed the two most recent meetings between the Bulldogs and the Razorbacks, with both games happening in the state of Arkansas. In 2014, UGA won 45-32 in Little Rock and then in 2020, Arkansas lost 37-10 in Fayetteville.

Interestingly enough, just as this game happens to be taking place in Athens, that last win over Georgia came in 2010 when the Razorbacks faced the Bulldogs in Sanford Stadium. Arkansas won that game by a score of 31-24.
Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks teams have already faced a couple tough tests early on in this season, but Georgia appears capable of being a legitimate national title contender. Despite the fact that Arkansas beat Texas and Texas A&M with relative ease, this game against Georgia is likely to be considerably more difficult.
That said, the No. 8 Razorbacks are in a great position to continue surprising folks and to continue earning respect. Sure, it won’t be easy to beat the Bulldogs, but weirder things have happened this season.
Arkansas and Georgia are set to kickoff at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
