Wisconsin has the top run defense in the country, so the Wolverines are likely to struggle yet again. Michigan hopes to walk away on Saturday with a win but hasn’t been able to beat Wisconsin in Madison in 20 years.

Wisconsin (1-2) is coming off of an embarrassing 41-13 loss to Notre Dame in Week 4 that knocked the Badgers out of the top-25. A field goal with over 14 minutes to play in the game gave Wisconsin a 13-10 lead, but then the Badgers proceeded to allow 31 unanswered points. Last week’s loss is inexcusable, but both of Wisconsin’s losses are from two teams that currently sit in the top-10. Quarterback Graham Mertz threw four interceptions and lost a fumble in Chicago, so if he has a similar performance this Saturday, it’ll be a long day for the Badgers.

Saturday will be Mertz’s toughest challenge as Wisconsin’s QB1 and fans in Madison will be expecting a huge rebound win over Michigan.
