The Philadelphia Eagles host the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday for Week 4. Both the Chiefs and the Eagles enter the game 1-2 coming off back-to-back disappointing losses.

Consecutive losses is something that hasn’t been common in Kansas City over the past few seasons. Despite starting the year with goals of being 20-0, quarterback Patrick Mahomes claims he likes the feeling of the Chiefs’ backs being against the wall. They’ll need to get going this week to escape that position. Although they signed Josh Gordon this week, Kansas City’s biggest concern is on the defensive side of the ball.

The Eagles are coming off an embarrassing Monday Night Football loss. In a primetime game, they were defeated by the division rival Dallas Cowboys 41-21. After an offensive explosion in Week 1, Philadelphia’s offense has had trouble getting going. Second year quarterback Jalen Hurts will need a big game if the Eagles plan to resurge against a mediocre Chiefs defense.

Both teams will be fighting to avoid a third straight loss and get back to .500. While it is important for the Eagles to get back on track, it will be mayhem if the Chiefs, who started the season as a Super Bowl favorite fall to 1-3.
