Liverpool and Manchester City battled to a 2-2 draw on Sunday and there was plenty of drama in the second half between the two.

Sunday’s contest between Liverpool and Manchester City was one to remember. At the end of the 90 minutes, plus stoppage time, things ended with a 2-2 draw. With that said, Liverpool supporters are quite angry right now.

Following a stunning goal from Mo Salah, Liverpool enjoyed a 2-1 lead in the second half for a brief period of time. Kevin De Bruyne scored the equalizer shortly after, but was Raheem Sterling in an offside position, impeding with Alisson Becker’s view? That’s what the LFC faithful are saying.

Liverpool fans have rushed to Twitter to call out VAR for not disallowing the second Man City goal

As you can see in the video above, Sterling was bent over right in front of Alisson. However, the ball deflected off a Liverpool defender before making its way to the back of the net. The goal stood and things ended 2-2. Was it the right call?

This is something that’s going to be discussed for quite some time. If you ask Manchester City fans, Sterling didn’t have an impact on the play and De Bruyne’s goal was perfect. On the other side of things, the home fans have no doubt in their minds that Sterling was offsides.
