Hunter Renfrow stopped Chargers fake punt with the hit stick (Video)

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow prevented a fake punt completion by the Los Angeles Chargers by using the hit stick during Monday’s game.
The Los Angeles Chargers were looking to catch the Las Vegas Raiders off guard during Monday night’s game. The issue that they had was wide receiver Hunter Renfrow was having none of it.
In the end of the first quarter, the Chargers looked as though they were going to punt the ball from Las Vegas’ own 41-yard line. Instead, punter Ty Long acted as though he was going to punt, but instead stepped back and threw a pass to cornerback Tevaughn Campbell. Renfrow spotted the play, and he unleashed the hit stick on Campbell, who dropped the ball on impact.
Hunter Renfrow tackle: Raiders WR goes full hit stick
We have a feeling that Renfrow will receive a ratings update EA Sports’ Madden NFL 22 in the coming days after making that huge tackle to prevent a first down by the Chargers. Los Angeles were aggressive on that play to potentially put more points on the board, but that was halted by Renfrow, and Renfrow alone.
Entering this game, Renfrow caught 16-of-22 targets for 204 yards and one touchdown.
Hunter Renfrow high school
Renfrow attended Socastee High School in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. His father was the coach at the time.
When looking back at the best plays of Week 4 of the 2021 NFL season, Renfrow’s huge hit will definitely make the cut.
