3 players the Yankees should sign to win World Series next year

Marcus Semien, SS
The most pressing need the Yankees have entering this winter is at shortstop. Despite the team’s insistence on pushing Gleyber Torres as their stalwart at the position, he was not capable of handling it. So, the Yankees moved him back to second base, a position he plays more naturally.
Luckily for the Yankees, there are plenty of middle infielders they can choose from in free agency. One that they can try to secure is Marcus Semien of the Toronto Blue Jays.
After spending six seasons with the Oakland Athletics as their shortstop, Semien signed a one-year deal with the Blue Jays. Since Bo Bichette manned shortstop, Semien moved over to second base, and he thrived.
Semien played in all 162 regular-season games, and he managed to put up 45 home runs, 102 RBI, 115 runs and 173 hits while recording a .265 batting average and a .873 OPS. The Yankees did get a firsthand look at what Semien can bring this season, as he hit eight home runs, knocked in 16 runs and recorded 21 hits while slashing .284/.384/.635 in 19 head-to-head games, per Baseball Reference.
The Yankees need to get a shortstop, and Semien could be a solid addition. Plus, they would get bonus points for prying him away from the Blue Jays.
