Broncos intercept Ben Roethlisberger 3 times

If last year proved anything, it is that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s arm is not where it used to be. Yet, they restructured his contract to bring him back for the 2021 season, and the struggles have still continued. So much so, that the offense has been ineffective thus far.

The Steelers offense has so many talented players available on the offense, such as Najee Harris, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chase Claypool and Diontae Johnson. Yet, the passing game ranks in the middle of the pack in terms of yards per game (246.5) and has only logged four touchdowns on the year. Granted, Roethlisberger has not had much help in terms of pass blocking at the line of scrimmage.

If the Broncos can put the pressure on Roethlisberger, they can force him to make mistakes. Luckily for them, they have a pretty solid group of defensive backs who can capitalize off of said mistakes. Taking that into consideration, the Broncos securing three interceptions is not out of the realm of possibility.
