This week might be make-or-break for a lot of fantasy teams, and they could be in desperation mode. Here are a few bold predictions that could help you win fantasy football Week 5.

Week 5 in the fantasy football season is usually a big one. The really good teams are likely sitting at 3-1 right now, but one loss really gives the rest of the league a chance to catch up. The bad teams are sitting at 1-3, and if another loss comes you may see that team go dormant. Then there are the 2-2 teams who don’t know what this season is going to become, but this week will tell them more than they expect.

This is an important week for just about every team in your league. Next week is the start of bye weeks where things start to get really hairy for fantasy team owners. At least four teams per week are just straight up not playing, and on top of the normal injury luck, it could lead to terrible or great matchups depending on which side of luck you see yourself.

There could be some bold happenings in fantasy football Week 5.

So, this is the week to take advantage of the NFL matchups. They won’t last every week, so focus closely on the teams your players are playing, because after this week, the New York Jets get to take a week off. So do the Atlanta Falcons. While that might not impact many teams who are looking to play their best players, it does impact the players on the other side.
