Which piece of headgear did Lee Corso put on to make his pick for the Texas Longhorns vs. Oklahoma Sooners game at ESPN’s College GameDay?

College GameDay was back at the State Fair of Texas for the Red River Showdown between Texas and Oklahoma on Saturday.

The pageantry was built in but Lee Corso always brings something extra to the show.

Who did Lee Corso pick on College GameDay for Texas and Oklahoma?

Corso got a huge ovation from the Oklahoma fans when he flashed the horns down, but he was just baiting them. He popped on a Longhorn head.

In his analysis earlier in the show, Corso said Texas’s chances of beating Oklahoma were “slim to none, but slim is still in the building.”

He is banking on the slim hope.

The Sooners are narrow favorites and they own a three-game winning streak over the Longhorns coming into this year’s matchup. A win on Saturday would give Oklahoma the longest streak in the rivalry since the five-game run from 2000 to 2004.

Critically for this season, the Sooners could also legitimize their national standing with an impressive enough outing.

Of course, the Longhorns have no interest in letting that happen. They last bested the Sooners in 2018 in a barnburner. Steve Sarkisian could prove he was exactly the right man for the job if he engineers an upset in his first season in charge.
