Fury vs. Wilder 3: Jared Anderson stops Vladimir Tereshkin in 2 (Video)

On the Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder 3 undercard, heavyweight Jared Anderson made quick work of Vladimir Tereshkin via round 2 TKO. 

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder weren’t the only heavyweights who grabbed attention on Oct. 9. Jared Anderson continued to impress on his climb up the heavyweight ranks with a round 2 TKO victory over Vladimir Tereshkin.

Anderon (10-0, 10 KOs) continued his unbeaten and knockout streaks alive with a punishing performance. Tereshkin never stood a chance.

Tereshkin (22-1-1, 12 KOs) held his own in round 1, but it was only a matter of time until Big Baby Anderson poured on the punches.

In round 2, Anderson caught Tereshkin with an overhand right that badly wobbled Tereshkin. He followed it up with another. The referee took a careful look at Tereshkin but let the fight go on for a few more seconds until it was clear he stood no chance.

The fight was stopped in round 2, giving Anderson another TKO victory. Anderson was a key sparring partner of Fury’s for his third matchup against Wilder. Fury said that he believes Anderson is a future boxing champion, and he may be right.
