8. New Orleans Saints at Washington Football Team

The Saints’ defense has been up-and-down, with 15, 6, 20 and 2 fantasy points in four games thus far (Yahoo! scoring). Since it’s an odd-numbered week, that seems to mean they’re due for another good showing against the Washington Football Team.

Taylor Heinicke has looked capable since taking over for Ryan Fitzpatrick under center for Washington. But he has thrown interceptable balls, it’s just a question of it the opposing secondary has capitalized (the Falcons didn’t in Week 4). Starting guard Brandon Scherff (knee) and tight Logan Thomas (hamstring) will also be out on Sunday.

A road outdoor game could be seen as a thing. But the Saints’ defense is in a solid spot for Week 5.

7. Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Titans’ defense seemed to be in a prime streaming spot in Week 4 against the Jets. Then they promptly allowed 27 points, with one sack and one interception. Week 5 provides another good opportunity though.

The Jacksonville Jaguars had a better showing in Week 4, as Trevor Lawrence did not throw an interception for the first time this season against the Bengals. But they lost wide receiver D.J. Chark in the game, and then there’s the situation around head coach Urban Meyer this week to provide a big distraction.

If not for last week’s performance, Tennessee’s defense would be higher on this list. I thought about leaving them off entirely, but the matchup is still too good to ignore.
