Taysom Hill left Week 5’s matchup against Washington after taking a nasty shot to the head.

As the New Orleans Saints attempt to get their season back on track, they might need to move forward without a potential key component of Sean Payton’s scheme.

Taysom Hill left Week 5 after taking a brutal shot to the head on what appears to be a blatant cheap shot from William Jackson III.

Hill was stretching out to make a catch — one that was well out of his reach — when Jackson III delivered a nasty hit. It was pretty clear that Hill was defenseless, and the hit was flagged.

Hill needed to be carted off the field:
