2021 NFL power rankings, Week 6: Cowboys hot, Raiders not
Following that wild 33-27 overtime loss on a Monday night at Las Vegas, John Harbaugh’s team hasn’t lost since. Last Sunday at Denver, the Ravens handed the Broncos their first loss of the season.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson leads an offense that has been a bit more balanced this year. But Harbaugh can’t be happy with the play of his defensive unit, which has given up its share of passing yards. And the Ravens are minus-1 in turnover differential.
Winners of three straight games after that Week 1 loss to the Saints, the Packers made their way to Cincinnati. It took more than four quarters to decide the issue. Mason Crosby missed a combined three field goals in the fourth quarter and overtime but nailed the game-winner from 49 yards out.
Crafty Aaron Rodgers overcame an early interception and threw for 344 yards and two scores. Davante Adams caught 11 passes for 206 yards and one TD.
Sean McVay’s team was coming off its first loss of the season and now had a short week as the Rams headed to Seattle. Quarterback Matthew Stafford struggled early and served up an interception and the team trailed 7-3 at intermission.
But the Rams scored 23 points in the second half and the veteran signal-caller would throw for 365 yards and one score. Los Angeles’ defense came up with two interceptions and limited Seattle to 92 yards rushing.
