Chiefs and Bills screwed over in same series
I lied. It’s actually two plays apart.
The Bills took care of the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, and unfortunately for Kansas City football fans, I am not providing them with an excuse for their abysmal performance on defense.
Instead, this is an indictment on bad officiating.
Late in the game, the Bills were called for a hold as Josh Allen escaped the pocket. That, uh, was not a good call.
I’m not sure if the officials knew this and wanted to make it up to Buffalo, or if they were just so inept that they made two horrible calls in a short period of time. However, the Chiefs were called for a brutal roughing the passer on the same series.

Stunning.
The Bills would defeat the Chiefs handily, and the officiating took a backseat in terms of Monday morning storylines. In this case, the ball really can’t lie.
