Braves screwed over by umps on so-called ‘unreviewable’ play (Video)

The Brewers were given an out that they did not deserve, thus limiting the Braves scoring in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Adam Duvall is very, very involved in the Braves miscues so far in Game 4, even if this one wasn’t remotely his fault.

Duvall made a terrible base-running flaw earlier in the game that cost the Braves further opportunity to score. In the top of the fourth inning, Duvall hit a foul pop-fly, which upon first look was caught by the Brewers.

Yet, replay showed that the ball hit off of catcher Omar Narvaez, and Luis Urias failed to secure it on the ricochet.

The umpires claimed that they couldn’t review the play, even though it would seem it’s as simple as catch/no catch. But nope!

It’s very clearly no catch!

Braves facing potential must-win Game 4

With Charlie Morton on the mound, the Braves would like to wrap this up at home. While Atlanta did tie the game at two runs apiece that inning, they were robbed a chance at more runs.

And the very next inning, the Brewers retook the lead thanks to an absolute bomb by Rowdy Tellez. Heck, all Tellez hits is bombs.
