Freddie Freeman gives Braves late lead in Game 4 with clutch home run (Video)

In a tie ballgame in the bottom of the eighth inning, Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman delivered his ‘pay me’ moment.
Freddie Freeman deserves all the money. Literally, all of it. We’re not sure what the Braves are waiting for.
In the bottom of the eighth inning of Game 4 of the NLDS on Tuesday, Freeman took a center-cut pitch from Brewers reliever Josh Hader and launched it over the wall, giving the Braves the lead heading into the ninth inning to clinch a spot in the NLCS.

Facing Hader? Not a problem in the world. Hader’s last home run was on July 28…until now. And it helped the Braves advance in the postseason.
Freddie Freeman contract details
Freeman is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of the World Series. The longtime Braves first baseman signed an eight-year, $135 million contract prior to the start of the 2014 season and is just days away from hitting the open market. It goes without saying that Freeman is the top first baseman among his fellow free agents and will be sought after by many teams if the Braves can not get a deal done.
In the NLDS, Freeman went 4-for-13 at the plate, while recording one home run, one double and two RBI.
