Tight End: Jared Cook ($3,200)

Our third Chargers player in this lineup is Jared Cook. It may seem like overkill, but I’m projecting the Chargers-Ravens game to be the most explosive of the week, leaving a plethora of fantasy points up for grabs.

Cook has a great matchup himself, as the Ravens are near the bottom of the league in fantasy points allowed to tight ends. He’s a solid bargain this week, and one that has a lot of upside.

Flex: D’Andre Swift ($6,300)

Adding an elite running back in D’Andre Swift to this lineup rounds out our group of skill position players very nicely. Swift has been crazy efficient with his touches. He’s not getting the heavy workloads that most starters do, but his passing game volume has kept him a fantasy RB2 so far this year.

Swift should find plenty of opportunity this week, especially in the passing game as the Lions will play catch up to the Bengals most of the game. Jared Goff is known for his check down game, and this week it will benefit Swift in a big way.

D/ST: Kansas City Chiefs ($2,800)

I know this pick is surprising. I surprised myself picking the Chiefs defense. They’re 29th against the run and 28th against the pass. However, this is about the best get-right matchup a team can possibly have, going up against a horrible Washington Football Team offense.

The Chiefs have defensive leaders in Tyrann Mathieu and Chris Jones that will deem their current performance inexcusable, and I believe this week they will turn it around and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will send blitz after blitz, making Taylor Heinicke’s life miserable.

The Chiefs defense is a really cheap option that one, I think has upside this week and two, allowed us to put together an even, high-floor lineup.
