FanDuel NFL 2021: Best lineup for Week 6
As you survey DFS options for Week 6, here’s a lineup to deploy in FanDuel and cash in with.
It’s already Week 6 on the 2021 NFL schedule, and hopefully the first five weeks have been kind to you in DFS (FanDuel, DraftKings, etc.) and season-long fantasy football. At least DFS allows you a clean slate every week,
For this week’s FanDuel lineup, we’re focusing on the Sunday slate of games before the night game. There’s a morning game stateside in London–Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars, but that will be out of the mix here too. So it’s Sunday “main slate” contests, starting with 1 p.m. ET games.
As usual when I do this piece, I will use this lineup in a contest myself. If you use it and lose, I’ll lose too.
Without further ado, here’s the best FanDuel lineup for Week 6.
FanDuel NFL lineup: Week 6
Quarterback: Carson Wentz, Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans-$6,700
The top-end quarterbacks don’t appeal to me much this week, so I’m going cheap here. Wentz threw for over 400 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5, and he has multilple passing touchdowns in back-to-back games. And he may be the healthiest he’s been in quite some time, as he shakes off injuries to both ankles.
In Week 6 Wentz get the Houston Texans, who are a bottom-half of the league fantasy defense against quarterbacks. Week 5 (Mac Jones) was the first time they didn’t allow multiple touchdowns (passing or running) or over 300 passing yards to a quarterback this season.
Wentz is playing well, and he has a soft matchup. He’s an easy bargain bin quarterback on FanDuel this week.
