3. Dak Prescott
The Cowboys’ 2020 season went off the rails when they lost Prescott due to injury. Fortunately for everyone in Dallas, the star quarterback is back healthy and firing this season.
Much of Prescott’s value stems from his exceptional accuracy with the football. He doesn’t just hit his pass-catchers, he throws the ball to the perfect spot for them to produce yards after the catch.
He also still has above-average mobility for the position. He can still hurt opponents via scrambles but he’s also a good thrower on bootlegs and sprint outs. That’s an underrated part of Prescott’s game that doesn’t escape the notice of opposing defensive coaches.
The Cowboys have put giving Prescott a massive long-term deal off for too many years. They’re going to need to make him the highest-paid quarterback in football soon. As long as he keeps playing at this level no one in Dallas will bat an eye at the finances of that deal.
