2. Josh Allen

Allen may never become the most polished passer in the NFL, but the combination of his dazzling arm strength and excellent running ability make him really hard to stop. That’s why the Bills had no qualms in making him one of the highest-paid players in the league after his exceptional 2020 campaign.

In many ways, Allen is an entirely unique quarterback in the modern NFL. In a game that’s often consumed with efficient, short throws; Allen is a guy who makes his living throwing the ball deep down the field. The sheer distance he can hurl the football stresses opposing secondaries in ways they aren’t accustomed to.

His penchant for breaking off big runs only adds to the challenge of stopping the Bills’ offense. Allen doesn’t possess sprinter’s speed, but he’s got a unique way of making some guys miss and running over others when he escapes the pocket.

Allen is highly paid now, but his contract will look better when more quarterback deals get signed in the near future. This is a good deal for Buffalo.
