LSU football fans got ready for their rivalry game against the Florida Gators by tailgating with a grilled gator on the menu.

College football fans take their rivalries very seriously. Just ask the LSU Tigers.

Before LSU’s face-off with Florida in Baton Rouge, Tigers fans grilled up some literal gator.

The reptile even had an LSU grill mark to boot.

This is a yearly tradition for some LSU football fans. After all, gator isn’t an unusual meat to grill up, especially in Louisiana.

It’s doubtful any Florida fans got their hands on literal Tiger meat to balance things out.

LSU football fans hope to grill Gators on and off the field

LSU fans may have had a feast before the game, but they’ll have their hands full taking on the No. 20 Gators. Ed Orgeron needs a big result in the rivalry game considering the growing fire under his seat.

LSU came into the game with a 3-3 record and they face an extremely tough slate over the coming weeks. The Tigers may be looking for a new head coach if they don’t come to play.
