Ronald Acuña Jr. rocked his Atlanta Braves uniform during the NLCS pre-game introductions.
In the first cool moment of the 2021 NLCS between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves, injured Atlanta outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. was introduced during the pre-game ceremonies decked out in his Braves uniform.
While Freddie Freeman is the reigning NL MVP, there is no denying who the most talented player on the Braves is. Unfortunately, the superstar outfielder tore his ACL in the final series before the All-Star break. It felt like season over for the Braves at that point of the campaign, but this team answered the call in the midst of adversity. Though he is out for the year, what a moment this is.
This is the first NLCS game played in front of Braves Country since the 2001 MLB postseason.

Injuries played a big part in the Braves’ first-half swoon. This is a team that did not get above .500 until well into the second half of the season. While they were fortunate to play in the worst division in baseball, the Braves still won the NL East division title for the fourth consecutive season. Regardless, Atlanta is looking to win its first NLCS since the 1999 MLB postseason.
Though Acuña will not play for the Braves until next year, this was a welcomed sight at Truist Park.
