Ben Simmons: What does conduct detrimental to the team mean in the NBA?
In layman’s terms, conduct detrimental means a player has become a major nuisance or a distraction that is taking away from the team in which the athlete plays on. This is most often associated with something behavioral, but it can also be as a form of action as well. Conduct detrimental occurs across all leagues and workplaces, but this is what it means in the NBA.
