Braves: What Brian Snitker said after blowing Game 3 to Dodgers
By Ethan Lee
Brian Snitker apparently believes the Atlanta Braves will be just fine despite blowing a lead to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Atlanta Braves absolutely collapsed against the Los Angeles Dodgers Tuesday evening, blowing a 5-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. The Dodgers were pretty impressive in their comeback attempt, scoring four runs late in the game to get a crucial 6-5 win in Game 3 of the NLCS.
But while things looked great for the Dodgers, Atlanta’s decision-making seemed pretty questionable. Brian Snitker should have pulled Luke Jackson before facing Cody Bellinger and he didn’t.
Atlanta had the chance to get up 3-0 in the NLCS, but because of that collapse, the Dodgers cut into their lead and the series now sits at 2-1. Los Angeles fans have to be happy with how their team played tonight and their chances to get right back into this series.
Despite how things went tonight, Snitker doesn’t seem to be all that worried.
Brian Snitker still thinks the Braves are fine after losing a huge lead against the Dodgers
Of course, while Snitker seems to think everything will be fine for the Braves, Atlanta fans aren’t exactly pleased with their manager right now. Many have taken to Twitter to express their frustrations and called for Snitker to be canned after the Braves blew a 5-2 lead in Game 3.
If Los Angeles can find a way to get back into this series and even things up in Game 4, the Braves should be very concerned about the way this series could end. The Dodgers will have the opportunity to tie the NLCS up Wednesday evening. If they do, it doesn’t matter what Snitker says, things won’t be fine at that point.
