18. D.J. Moore
Moore isnāt the wide receiver on this list with the biggest name, but his impact for the Panthersā offense is consistently at a Pro Bowl level. Heās posted back-to-back 1,000+ yard receiving yards seasons in Carolina and is well on his way to a third in 2021.
The former Maryland star doesnāt threaten opposing defenders with elite speed, but heās got enough foot speed to force opposing corners to give him space on underneath routes. Itās his running back-like skills with the ball in his hands that really trouble opposing defensive coordinators.
If Moore can develop an elite rapport with Sam Darnold thereās a chance he becomes one of the most productive receivers in the game. The presence of Robby Anderson on the other side of the formation in Carolina gives him more one-on-one matchups than some other No. 1 wideouts in the league. Moore deserves credit for taking advantage of those opportunities to produce yards at a prodigious clip.
Moore deserves more credit on the national stage. Heās a young, complete wideout that already produces like a legitimate No. 1 option for his team. The Panthers will need to become a playoff threat if they want their young wideout to get the credit he deserves.
