Despite the drama, the 76ers have found success with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, Simmons’ replacement. The Brooklyn superteam is still working with James Harden and Kevin Durant, so even without Simmons and Irving, these two teams are set to go toe-to-toe on Friday night.
