2. Sam Darnold at New York Giants

We kick off our top-2 fantasy football sleepers in terms of the quarterback spot with Sam Darnold, who will be making a return to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Giants. The former New York Jets starting quarterback is having a good first season with the Carolina Panthers and will be playing a Giants team in Week 7 that is just downright bad.

Last weekend, Matthew Stafford shredded the Giants’ defense en-route to a Los Angeles Rams blowout victory, and the same could happen this week. Darnold has found success on the ground, and through the air, and when all is said and done, he should find the end zone throwing a rushing against this porous Giants defense.

1. Derek Carr vs Philadelphia

Going into their matchup with the Denver Broncos, nobody knew what to expect from the Las Vegas Raiders, who saw head coach Jon Gruden resign on Monday of that week. One certain thing was that they had great leadership in the locker room, led by quarterback Derek Carr, who led his team to a stunning victory last Sunday.

With full autonomy over the play calling, Carr shredded a good Broncos defense, attacking them deep early on with Henry Ruggs, and that could be the case again on Sunday. Sure, the Philadelphia Eagles have a solid secondary, but the Raiders have a ton of weapons, and now that Carr is calling the shots, more 30-point games could be in the cards.
